Bens Subtropicals: Go see Ben and Mary for all of your rare fruit needs. They sell both plants and the fruit off of their own stock. Buy some of their fresh berries or ask when starfruit are in season.

Da-Le Ranch: For meats from beef to chicken, talk to Dave and Leslie. They are at a number of Farmers Markets in San Diego County so you are bound to run into them eventually.They are great people and very knowledgable about their products. Buy a tri-tip or two and invite your neighbors for a bbq. You will impress them.
Machado Farms: Have a question about farming or just your backyard garden, ask Rick. If he does not know the answer quite possibly your in trouble because he knows all in the world of seeds, plants and farming and even the home garden. Take home some of Rick's custom salad mix for a fresh anytime meal.
M and M's NutHouse: Mark specializes in macadamia nuts and if you have a question about them don't go to the guys in Hawaii, go to Fallbrook and ask the guy that really knows the answer. Mark sells his "macs" at various markets , so look for him, say "hello" and buy some of his nuts. You will be happy you did.
